Check out this neat optical illusion:


I saw this video and thought it was fake, but I wanted to be sure. I did some googling and found out that it is called a Jastrow Illusion. I still didn't think it was real so I found this similar optical illusion:

I still didn't believe they were the same size, so I copied and pasted it into Microsoft Paint and cut out the bottom image and dragged it ontop of the top image. They turned out to be the exact same size, and I was a little amazed.

Endangered Animals

If they would have used this frog in my 10th grade Biology class, Coach Beacher wouldn't have had to kill 75 frogs with a ball peen hammer.

The picture is from 20 (More) Strange and Exotic Endangered Species, which has some other pretty cool animals, and some animals that will freak you the fuck out. The Mexican Walking Fish (um isn't that enough to make Evolution a "Law" instead of a "Theory"?) is going extinct - that's sad:

The Goliath Bird Eating Spideris going extinct - good. That thing is fucking huge, and might decide it wants to eat me. I hope blogging is one of the direct causes of its extintion, because it is scary looking:
